How do I connect my PSP to the internet?
Getting online with your PSP is very simple. First, you must be in range of a Wifi hotspot (wireless local area network). Hotspots can be found in airports, hotels, restaurants, and at home if you have a wireless network. Once in range of a hotspot, go to the Web Browser function and create a new connection. Search for networks in range. You will usually need a signal of at least 40% to connect - the higher the percent, the faster the connection will be.

If the network is not secured (”None”) you can automatically connect. If the network is secured, you will need to input the required information to go online. The most commonly secured network is WEP, which requires you to know the pass key.

How do I play PSP games online?
You need a PlayStation Portable game that supports multiplayer Wifi. There are two different types: Infrastructure and Ad Hoc. Infrastructure allows people to play over the internet with anyone in the world. Ad Hoc requires you to be within range of the other players and treats one of the PSPs as the game host.
