How to use PSP demos

First, make sure you have the required firmware for the game demo you want to download. You can get these updates at www.yourpsp.com or us.playstation.com.

1. Download the demo you wish to play on your PC.

2. Connect your PSP to your PC using a USB cable, go to Settings > USB Connection on your PSP (or use a MemoryStick Duo card reader if you have one).

3. If the demo you downloaded only contains an EBOOT.PBP file, copy that into the PSP/GAME/[folder] directory on your PSP. See the demo download page for the correct folder name. Note: the name of the demo folder doesn’t really matter, it just helps your PSP identify the files.

4. If the demo you downloaded contains multiple files, copy the entire folder into the PSP/GAME/ directory on your PSP.

5. Exit the USB mode on your PSP and disconnect it from your PC (or reinsert your MemoryStick). Navigate to the Games menu and select the memory card, there you will see a list of the demos you’ve downloaded. Press the x button to load a demo. To exit at any time, press the Home button.
