PSP firmware 3.50 released

Sony PSP firmware v3.50 has just been released. Unfortunately, the update doesn’t include anything very big or exciting.

The firmware 3.50 update includes the following new features:
- You can now connect a PSP® system to a PS3™ system via the Internet using [Remote Play].
- Communication Settings] has been added as an option to the [Remote Play] menu.
- [RSS Channel Guide] has been added as a feature under [RSS Channel].

The RSS Channel Guide is definitely a cool idea, but how long will it keep you interested? The advanced Remote Play is something that PS3 owners have wanted for a while now, so it’s good to see that in there as well. Still, this seems to be in line with the mediocre updates that Sony has been pumping out lately.

When our we going to get the PlayStation Network on our handhelds, Sony?
