The 5 most anticipated PSP games of 2007
This could very well be the “year of the PSP.” There are a lot potentially great games coming out for the PSP this year. Here are the five that we’re most excited about.
5. Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron (September 2007)
This game was just announced last week, but its already drawing a lot of attention from fans of the Battlefront series. The PSP version will star a band of rogues assembled by Han Solo to execute secret missions.
4. Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow (September 2007)
This nostalgic sequel to Dark Mirror finds Gabe Logan up to his stealthy antics again as he tries to take down a criminal organization. With the original game declared as the best first-person shooter for the PSP, Logan’s Shadow has some big shoes to fill.
3. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (Fall 2007)
Of course, this list would not be complete without the infamous FFVII: Crisis Core. We’ve been waiting for this game since the day that Sony announced the PSP. This one is way overdue, but it looks like its finally happening this fall.
2. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (September 2007)
Based on Monster Hunter 2 for the PlayStation 2, Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is already the best selling PSP game ever and it hasn’t even left Japan yet! You’ll finally be able to see what the hype is all about when Monster Hunter comes to European and American shores in September.
1. God of War: Chains of Olympus (Fall 2007)
Developed by the same team that brought Daxter to the PSP, GoW: Chains of Olympus looks like it will be one of the defining games for the system. All of the recent buzz over the game has certainly pushed it to the most anticipated game of the year. Kratos storms onto the PlayStation Portable this fall.
