New Final Fantasy game “Dissidia” announced

PSP Final Fantasy Dissidia

With over 7 games in development for the sytem, 5 of which are Final Fantasy games, Square Enix has made it clear that they love the PSP. We’ve known about the fifth “secret” Final Fantasy game for a while now, we just didn’t know what it was. Now, details are finally starting to emerge.

The game is titled Final Fantasy Dissidia. What this is a reference to, or what time period this takes place in is unclear. However, we do know that the game will not be an RPG, but a progressive action game.

The official site for Final Fantasy Dissidia was also put up today. Don’t get too excited though, there’s nothing more than a flash intro stating “fantasy is endless.”

Certainly, we should find more about this exciting game at the Square Enix Party next weekend.
