Super Mario 64 ROM on PSP

What’s better than playing Mario 64? Playing it on your PSP, of course! Using the N64 emulator for homebrew-enabled PSPs and a Mario 64 ROM, you can now kick it with Mario on your Sony handheld. Check out the video below.

The game is emulated using the Daedalus N64 R9 emulator. As you’ll notice in the video, the framerate is not perfect, and the game lags in some areas. However, it’s definitely playable.

How did you get that on your PSP???
Can you please tell me how to step by step.

max, first you will need a homebrew enabled PSP. See our downgrading guide from the menu above to homebrew enable your PSP. Next, you will need the N64 PSP emulator from http://dl.qj.net/

Once you have that all setup, you will need a Super Mario 64 ROM file. This can be found on any ROM site (Google: Super Mario 64 rom download).

Hope this helps you on your way!

Thank you but I still need help.
I have the 3.11 version and I already have the 1.5 version to downgrade on my PSP where it says Memorystick.
But when I click to downgrade it says that i have no need to downgrade it.
    What do I do?
Sorry that I am bothering you with this.

Were do i put the Rom-files on the PSP?

  10. Brandon Spencer says at 2007-11-10 21:11:

Aguggi, if you have the Daedalus 64 emulator then just put the ROM files in the ROM folder. There should be a file in there called “roms go here.txt” or something like that.

I suggest if you run this, have custom firware. The game runs almost perfect if you have the cpu set to run at 333Mhz. These CPU options as far as I know are only in the recovery console of the custome firware, or in the IRShell programs that you may or may not need custom firware to run.
