Final Fantasy Tactics will have multiplayer

Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War will support 2-player multiplayer. The players will compete against each other on separate teams - one red and one blue.

Each player will also have a limited number of turns, to prevent people from just avoiding each other. What’s not clear yet is whether the multiplayer will be done over Ad Hoc or Infrastructure.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War is set to be released for the PSP in Japan next month. Square has said nothing of a global release, but our hopes are high.
