Chili Con Carnage released

Ever wished you could blast away at Mexican thugs while hanging from a helicopter flying through Mexico city? Take a deep breath, and then check out the latest PSP game - Chili Con Carnage.
This ridiculous gunslinger game allows you to play as Ramiro, the son of a government secret-agent. After Ramiro’s father is killed, your Mexican hero must venture out to hunt those responsible for his death. Eventually, Ramiro finds himself mixed up with crazy Mexican crime lords and flying drug dealers.
Don’t get too folded up in the story though, the plot is as silly as noninvasive. The main interest of the game is the wacky action - ridiculous bullet-dodging moves and enormous explosions.
Chili Con Carnage for the PSP is actually a remake of an underappreciated PS2 game from 2005 called Total Overdose: A Gunslinger’s Tale in Mexico. The original game drew many references from Robert Rodriguez movies and games like Max Payne. Deadline Games has improved much of the weaker elements in Chili Con Carnage on the PSP. The story has been made linear - which actually helps keep the game flowing. Instead of wasting time trying to get from point A to point B, you can spend your time taking out bull-riding bandits.
Chili Con Carnage holds some similarities to Total Overdose, but everything has pretty much been redone. Some characters and levels from the original are present in the PSP version, but old fans wont be disappointed with the changes.
The game is hilariously over-the-top. Serious Sam over the top. If you like a cheap laugh, Chili Con Carnage will surely keep you laughing with guns blazing all the way through.
