Monster Hunter Portable 2nd sold out

Not a complete surprise - Capcom’s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd for the PSP is totally sold out in Japan. Japanese gamers are paying insane prices for rare copies of the game on Yahoo! Auctions, not unlike the Wii/PS3 launch incident.
The surprising thing is that it took several days for the game to sell out. According to market estimates, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd sold 500,000 units on the first day alone. Capcom is easily going to sell millions of copies of this game.
Are we going to see Monster Hunter in the US? All I can say is that money talks. The Monster Hunter Portable 2nd launch speaks for itself. Let’s just hope Capcom is listening.
