Nintendo 64 Emulator for PSP
The PSP is infamously known for its vast homebrew community. Emulation is very much a part of that. Unfortunantly, there currently aren’t any functional Nintendo 64 Emulators available for PSP owners. Luckily, that’s about to change.
PSP programmer StrmnNrmn has provided a little sneak peak of the revamped user interface that he’s been working on for his Nintendo 64 emulator. StrmnNrmn has already released a beta version of his N64 emu, “Daedalus.” However, the software lacked audio support and many 64 games run at a slow frame rate.
The new version of the Daedalus emulator fixes all of these problems, plus adds some cool new features. The new Nintendo 64 emu includes an in-game menu, viewport scaling, and screen size ratios.
Daedalus R9 (the new version) will be available soon. However, R9 will not support all of the ROMs yet. You can expect better ROM support in R10. We’ll let you know when you can get your hands on the new versions, or you can grab the old Daedalus on QJ.
