PSP firmware 3.1 cracked
Firmware 3.10 was decrypted on the same day Sony released it. It looks like no matter what Sony does, the persistant homebrew community is eagerly waiting to find the next exploit. Now that 3.10 has been decrypted, the homebrew community (namely Dark_AleX and the Noobz team) is working hard to crack it open.
So what does this mean? We will certainly see a new version of Devhook and new custom 3.1 firmware. And, if an exploit is found, a 3.1 downgrader is almost guaranteed. In fact, some people are already reporting that the Grand Theft Auto downgrader hack was not fixed in 3.1. If this is the case, then a 3.1 downgrader is closer than we think.
However, this is all in speculation. There are no promises when we will see a 3.1 downgrader anytime soon. It took a couple months before 3.03 was able to be downgraded. We’ll let you know as soon as we get any new information!
