8GB PSP Memory Stick Coming

Sony announced that an 8GB PSP memory stick is on the way today at CES. The 8-gig memory stick will be available sometime in February at major retailer outlets. The downside is the pricetag: a whopping $300. Also, you’ll need firmware 2.81 or above for your PSP to recognize an 8gb stick.

The good news is that we can hope for a price cut on 1gb or 2gb memory sticks soon.
